  • Use a "Safe Search" search engine When SafeSearch is turned on, sites and web pages containing pornography and explicit sexual content are blocked from search results. Nothing is 100% but this is a great help.

    Now please don't get me wrong this is not a bad thing, it can be both fun and educational for all involved.
    Here are some examples the internet can be used for:If you were after a song that you haven't heard since you were young, go to a search engine, (we will explain these in depth if you require private tuition) type the name of the song and up will pop the song for you to download.If a young member of your family needs information for a school project, again they type in the subject and numerous pages from all around the world pop up, the only thing you have to do is choose how much information you would like or need.These are only two examples because the list would be never ending with the things that are possible on the World Wide Web( this is what www stands for).

These following examples are of the bad things that the www contains although they are in abundance there are easy ways of filtering them out. ( We will explain these in depth if you require private tuition ).

Adult matter is seen almost everywhere on the internet, but it is easy to filter out once the computer is set up properly.

Viruses can be a problem if you do not update your antivirus files.( These can be downloaded from the internet).

Once your computer is set up appropriately and files and drivers are kept updated then you should have alot of fun and very little if not no trouble at all.
It really is this easy once you are shown the right way without all the mumbo jumbo.
